If you submit a review, we collect your name, email address, event details, star rating, review text and any photographs you choose to upload. We use enquiry details to respond, check availability, prepare quotes and manage potential or confirmed bookings. We use review details to verify and moderate submissions, contact you where necessary, and publish approved content where you have agreed. We do not use review submissions for automatic public posting.

Our reasons for using personal information

We process enquiries and booking details where necessary to take steps towards a contract or perform one. We may retain relevant records to meet legal obligations and manage legitimate business needs. We rely on your permission when publishing your review, display name or identifiable photographs, where consent is the appropriate basis. You may withdraw publication consent by contacting us.

Reviews and photographs

Reviews and photographs are submitted privately for assessment. We choose whether to publish them; submitting content does not guarantee publication. Your email address is not displayed publicly. Please only upload photographs you are entitled to share and for which you have appropriate permission from identifiable people. For photographs of children, permission from a parent or guardian is especially important. We may decline or remove any photograph or review.

Who handles your information

Our website is hosted using Netlify. Website forms and uploaded files are processed through Netlify's form services, and notifications are sent to our business email service (Microsoft Outlook). These providers process information on our behalf under their own applicable terms and safeguards. We do not sell your personal information.

How long we keep it

We keep information only for as long as reasonably needed for enquiries, bookings, review moderation, legal requirements and resolving queries. We periodically review and delete information that is no longer needed. If you would like us to remove an unpublished submission, please contact us. Some records may need to be retained where required by law.

Security and international processing

We take reasonable steps to restrict access to customer information and review uploads. Online services may process or store data outside the UK; where relevant, we expect service providers to apply appropriate legal safeguards. No online system can guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access, correct or erase your information, restrict or object to certain uses, or withdraw consent. Email starlightentertainment1@outlook.com and we will respond to your request. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

We do not currently describe any optional advertising or analytics cookies as being in use on this website. Hosting services may process technical information necessary to deliver and protect the site.
